Georgian House of Lakewood is a unique facility that specializes in the care of residents with behavioral management issues and psychiatric needs.

We're an extremely well-run facility. Our seasoned staff is very comfortable in caring for those with psychiatric or mental health needs. This feeling shows itself in our homelike and warm environment where everyone is welcomed and included in daily comings and goings.

Upon one's arrival, we look very closely at their needs and design an individual care plan. Through this process, we match roommates and ensure that behavioral management strategies are in place for the safety of the new resident and for the safety of other residents too. As a comfort, our entire building is secured to meet the needs of any individual with cognitive displacement.

Our team lives up to Avamere's overall mission, "to enhance the life of every person we serve" by really taking it to heart and applying it to everyone we come in contact with from residents and their extended family to the delivery person.

As Administrator, I'm very dedicated and passionate about helping people. I've enjoyed serving this facility for four years—and am very involved with all levels of care for residents. Personally, I'm always seeking ways to improve our care services for the betterment of this population.
